your funeral and wedding band the cowboys of prekmurje has six members. all of them live in basel or zurich, but they come from different nations actually.. our front man is peter santos (melodica, voice) who is coming from austria and portugal. ueli pletscher (tenor - & sopranosaxophone) is both finnish and swiss. jaro milko (guitar) is from prag, czech republik. beni brodbeck (drums) is a pure swiss guy. last but not least the brothers medjimorec: flo (tenorsaxophone) and martin (bass) are from slovenia. this international mixture gives us the possibility to have a very open repertoire. although we feel very obliged to balcan music we also play melodies of movies and cartoons as well as famous funk- and latin songs. we also have some of our own songs in the very special and funny cowboys style. |
